Min: Statistics’ February data unreliable, seen possibly revised

MOSCOW, Mar 21 (PRIME) -- The Federal State Statistics Service’s February data are not reliable and could be significantly revised, Economic Development Minister Maxim Oreshkin told reporters on Tuesday.

“The statistical data for February published by the Federal State Statistics Service is unrepresentative both for fundamental and technical reasons. The base of the previous, leap year, taken as a basis, and the shift of additional holiday days to February this year have distorted the statistical data,” he said.

The statistical data for January and February could be possibly revised in the future, he said.
